I have a passion for animals and have drawn them ever since I can remember.

My home was always full of animals of different kinds.

Upon leaving school I was lucky enough to be accepted upon the only course specialising in Natural History illustration in the UK.

My training, deep in the South Wales countryside, enabled me to fully understand how animals are put together and what makes them tick.

Days on end were spent either drawing animals from life at zoos, or following them around the fields and countryside in an effort to gain a much fuller understanding of my subject.

I graduated in 1984, and have been painting and drawing animals ever since.

Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to see the finished images and the wonderful reactions of the subject's owners to the pictures of their pets, that I know they will treasure for many years to come.
